Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor for a permanent contract on behalf of our client based in Bromely.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Load and unload heavy goods vehicles with groupage shipments.
- Stacking and storing the palletized freight in the appropriate areas
- Safety inspections of forklift trucks and, if necessary, report any issues found
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
- Raise any H&S issues, incidents or accidents
- Ensure compliance with H&S & PPE
- Leading and motivating team, reporting to the Warehouse Manager
Requirements:
- Relevant work experience gained in a Groupage Warehouse environment
- Experience in using MS Office and Outlook email.
- Proven supervisory experience with the staff.
- Maintaining Health and Safety standards in the workplace (an understanding of First Aid principles)
